Forget story hour, Nolan would rather play with the trains! We bailed after 5 minutes of the “class” because there were at least 50 toddlers in there! I can’t do a room of 50 toddlers!
We are calmly playing with other boys with the trains.
We recently got an Apple TV. Tyler’s photo stream is like a screen saver which is fantastic because Nolan loves watching himself. It was a little weird when he stood in front of the TV and carried out conversations with pictures of his cousin Shae.
| Nolan: | daddy sleeping? No. |
| Me: | no |
| Nolan: | daddy go work? Yes. |
| Me: | yes |
| Nolan: | daddy go trash outside? No. |
| Me: | (did he really just ask that?) |
| Nolan: | daddy at work. Daddy go bye bye. Watch tigger? |
Flowers all gone mommy. This was Nolan’s comment about the rose bushes that no longer have flowers. Forgot to mention that he said this 3x waiting for my validation.
We’ve been really enjoying watching Nolan process things. He knew the flowers had been on these bushes but he was trying to process what the heck happened because they were there the last time we walked past.
County line to the state line and Nolan is still asleep!!
This morning we met my mom at the new Effingham Farmer’s Market, played at the Evergreen Park, and had lunch at Steak and Shake. Nolan sat for a face painting on his hand, was excited to see all the dogs, and was tickled when his grandma chased him up the tall slide. He also had his first experience with the merry go round.
